Group Savings Tool
The Savings Goal Getter by Huntington Bank (n.d.) is a tool that helps users save for their goals. I will be discussing elements of this tool and ways I could expand them.
Whether saving for the trip of a lifetime, or just putting money away for a rainy day, we can help. With Savings Goal Getter you create your goals, and we'll track your progress and help you get there faster.
You can add up to 10 Savings Goals plus an Emergency Fund for each of your Huntington Savings and Money Market accounts.
To create a savings goal in The Hub, select a category, and give your goal a name. Enter how much you want to save and by when.
We'll help you calculate easy amounts to save on a weekly or monthly basis and show you how the money you’ve saved is stacking up against your goals.
As you add money to your savings goal, we'll send you Heads Up alerts so you can track your savings progress. (Huntington, n.d.)

The Savings Goal Getter tool helps users save for whatever they desire. It allows users to set up automatic transfers to their savings accounts and sends progress alerts to show when users are on or off track. Understanding how this tool works will allow me to see what savings features Huntington already implements, and how the tool can be expanded to be useful in other ways.
Currently, the tool is designed so that each account holder only sees the Savings Goals that were made with their own login information. I think this tool could be expanded to be more collaborative and help group travelers collectively save for their trips. What kind of features can be implemented in a group Savings Goal Getter to help groups save for trips while also protecting each person’s individual accounts and contributions?
