This article is useful for my research because it explores how smart lighting can support wellness by aligning with our body's natural rhythms and emotional needs. It talks about how light is a powerful tool for regulating circadian rhythms which influence sleep, mood and overall well being. Smart lighting can mimic the natural progression of daylight and helps to regulate our circadian rhythms. The article highlights how the color of light plays a crucial role in our emotional health. Smart lighting offers a spectrum of colors that can be adjusted to boost mood and create a calming atmosphere. The soft glow of warm lights can soothe the mind. For my design I can incorporate smart lighting features into the backseat environment that could enhance children's relaxation and mindfulness during travel. If the car is traveling during the day, there could be adjustable shades that automatically dim the backseat to create a calmer atmosphere. At night there could be soft, soothing accent lighting could be used to promote relaxation. How could this be seamlessly incorporated into the car?
