'Leave No Trace' Interactive Installation

The interactive experience illustrated above draws from the existing Leave No Trace outdoor ethics cards and Seven Principles webpage, as discussed in Leave No Trace: Outdoor Ethics, to create an immersive installation that educates park goers in a more engaging way. Using projectors, motion-activated sensors, and Augmented Reality techniques (similar to the immersive exhibits featured at Otherworld), this idea aims to make learning about outdoor ethics a memorable, engaging, and fun experience. The friendly Bigfoot from the original Leave No Trace ethics cards is used as a character to guide participants through the experience, and the personified outdoor equipment from the kid's ethics deck could be implemented as well. The installation could manifest as an immersion room built into park visitor centers.
Issues that arise with this idea include funding concerns that could make it difficult for parks to obtain the necessary technology for the immersive experience. There's also the fact that a physical space or separate room is needed to house the installation.
