Survey
Below is a visualization of my survey data.

The imagery above visualizes the research that was conducted through a Qualtrics survey I conducted to better understand Children's backseat experience while traveling in vehicles. The survey was sent in a NE Ohio (Fairview Park) Community Schools Facebook Group with 1,700 members. My survey received 39 completed responses from a variety of age groups. I was able to assess levels of satisfaction and relate it to the driver's current vehicle, relationship to the child passenger, and the challenges they face in the car. I also asked about their experiences with mindful practices and was shocked to discover majority of parents used similar techniques to calm down children in times of stress. I created various charts and diagrams to show my data. I used a circular chart that showed the main challenges and emotions that occurred in the car for kids. The larger the circle, the more times it was recorded in the results. I also used a series of bar charts to gage the satisfaction or participants and relate them to different demographics. The pie charts were utilize to showcase various models of cars, and strategies that the participants currently use. This visual allows me a clear way to argue my main point, that cars are significant spaces for children where they face numerous emotions, challenges, and forms of distractions.
Below is the list of questions I asked participants. My main goal was to explore some of the emotions children feel, the current challenges they face, and the strategies already in place to help them remain calm during car rides. I created a survey of 11 questions with multiple-choice and open ended responses.
