Design Conjecture Two, Sun Gaze
Sun Gaze is a sunroof that has the ability to reflect and project interactive games onto the car floor. Through a small projector, interactive games for children and parents can be projected onto the floor from the sunroof. To interact with the games, individuals can detach the built-in car tablet from the back of the seats; for the passenger in the front, it is conveniently located under the storage compartment. From these tablets, individuals can choose from a variety of games and puzzles.
The conceptual design of Sun Gaze was inspired by an article discussing sunroofs randomly shattering. To solve this ongoing problem amongst users, a sunroof could be reimagined through the implementation of a new technology, a unique projector.

Key Highlights
- A fun, interactive experience for children and parents
- It is an individual experience on a tablet, but it is through the project individuals can see the impact they are making
- There is an adjustable day and night mode to brighten and dim the screen
Downsides
Th downsides to the Sun Gaze are the projector works during the day but works best at night. Regarding the projector working at night, it may be distracting to the driver, regardless of the night mode. Another downside is the projector has to be wired to electricity to properly work, and it may drain an individual's car battery overtime.
