MYOPlastic

MYOPlastic is a Precious Plastic workshop that allows users to make their own miniature sheet goods.

This rapid design idea comes from the idea that once people are educated on what recycled plastic production companies do with their recycled plastic, it will increase motivation to participate. Local companies or community workshops with the right equipment can host this event to raise awareness about environmental concerns, create a recycling community, and teach how recycled plastic goes to a good cause.

One issue that could arise from this design is sourcing everything required for the workshop: People, plastic, and equipment. Ideally, this would be held at an existing recycled plastic manufacturer. However, due to time constraints, availability, and machinery safety concerns, this may not always be feasible.
