Neko Health Scan
Reinventing preventative healthcare, Neko Health, a company founded in Stockholm, is now expanding its innovation internationally, with a new location coming by the end of September to New York City. The concept is centered around conducting a comprehensive health scan, collecting and analyzing quantitative data from across the body; the scan is priced at $499 (Neko Health, 2026). Rather than focusing healthcare primarily on treating symptoms after they appear, Neko Health aims to shift the focus toward identifying potential health concerns early and preventing illness before symptoms emerge.

The Neko Health Scan takes around 60 minutes and combines millions of data points across the body, including the heart, blood, skin, and metabolic health. The experience is non-invasive and radiation-free, with results available during your visit. Members then sit down with a clinician to understand what their results mean and provide actionable insights (Neko Health, 2026).
Everything is processed and analyzed on-site – no samples sent away, no waiting. Your results are ready by the time you meet the clinician (Neko Health, 2026).
Get health projections as well as an action plan to help shape your future... Free follow-ups, referral letters, and introductions to specialists, if advised by your clinician (Neko Health, 2026).
Types of assessments completed within the Neko Health Scan:
Skin — Over 2,000 high-resolution images build a precise map of your skin and body to highlight moles that need further inspection, and track changes over time; Melanoma risk, irregular pigmentation, thermal anomalies, moles requiring further inspection (Neko Health, 2026).
Body composition — Measures visceral fat and body fat percentage, giving you a clearer understanding of your metabolic health. Grip strength tracks long-term physical resilience; Metabolic & cardiovascular health, type 2 diabetes, heart attack & stroke risk (Neko Health, 2026).
Heart — Three technologies work together to assess your heart's electrical activity, mechanical function, and arterial health – building a detailed picture of how your heart is performing at rest; Heart attack & stroke risk, arrhythmia, heart valve abnormalities (Neko Health, 2026).
Circulation — Neko-engineered devices use multi-wavelength light and laser vibrometry to assess circulation – from arterial function down to blood flow in your smallest blood vessels; Heart attack & stroke risk, atherosclerosis, microvascular & peripheral arterial disease (Neko Health, 2026).
Blood — Blood is processed in our on-site lab, delivering results across clinically-selected biomarkers, ready to review with your clinician before you leave; LDL & HDL, long-term blood sugar (HbA1c), inflammation markers (Neko Health, 2026).

I’ve noticed through my primary research looking into the Amish community in Junction city and rural population in Hocking County that individuals in rural environments do not always prioritize regular checkups and often wait until symptoms become severe before seeking care. This can make conditions more difficult and expensive to treat. My research with EMS responders also showed me how these delays can place additional pressure on emergency services when these patients eventually require urgent care.
Neko Health’s preventative holistic scan allows health monitoring to occur more quickly and accessibly. This could be especially beneficial for rural communities that already have limited healthcare resources. Catching a health concern before it becomes severe could also help patients avoid some of the larger medical expenses associated with emergency care, hospitalizations, or prolonged treatment. This approach could help shift rural healthcare away from an overwhelming emphasis on responding to severe symptoms and toward addressing problems before they escalate both medically and financially.
