TECEO: Solution that stands
TECEO made by Schreder which is an LED street lighting system that has a purpose of reducing environmental effects of outdoor lighting while still giving the feeling of safety with enough illumination. TECEO is Dark Sky approved and gives off 0% ULOR (upward light output ratio). Some of the features that are included in this design is using a PIR motion sensor to increase lighting while pedestrians or vehicles are detected. Other features that the TECEO GEN2 version has is its universal fixation parts which is able to adapt on preexisting lighting posts weather it is on the top or the side. This makes me think about how sometimes as designers we don't need to come up with a completely new product but innovate something that can be attached to a preexisting one. To either enhance a design more or a way to solve another problem that arises with a design.

“TECEO is recognized by many independent bodies as a leading LED lighting solution that stands out in terms of efficiency, versatility and connectivity.”
“The complete TECEO range is available with universal reversible fixation parts (for spigots from Ø32 to Ø76) adapted for post-top and side-entry mounting, ensuring compatibility with most poles and brackets. The inclination angle can be adjusted on-site for both post-top (0 to +15°) and side-entry (0 to -15°) configurations. As an option, TECEO can be delivered pre-cabled.”
One of the most important technologies is Constant Light Output (CLO). What this means is that LEDs naturally lose some of their brightness over their lifespan. But when TECEO was created it had that in mind where it can control its light output so that it maintains lighting throughout its lifespan. This prevents the fixture from using more energy and producing more light than necessary.

The period between switching on and switching off is used to activate the preset dimming profile. The customized dimming system generates maximum energy savings while respecting the required lighting levels and uniformity throughout the night.
In places with little nocturnal activity, lighting can be dimmed to a minimum most of the time. By using passive infrared (PIR) sensors, the level of light can be raised as soon as a pedestrian or a slow vehicle is detected in the area.
This is useful because it demonstrates that reducing environmental impact can happen through precise control rather than simply making a light less powerful. This product technology connects with my ODNR project because it introduces the idea of that a streetlight could be designed around a minimum necessary lighting level. As well as sometimes we don't need to make a completely new infrastructure. TECEO introduces that we can make parts that attach to the already existing parts.
